Ryan + Victoria

I met Ryan and Victoria downtown Seattle early Saturday morning before the sun had even come up. We went into Pike Place market where the vendors were getting ready for a busy day of selling their goods to locals and tourists. We had a fun morning scouting out great places to take photos in and around Pike Place Market, with all the hustle and bustle of the big city in the background. Aren't they an adorable couple? Daniel and Tiffany celebrate their Engagement!

Daniel and Tiffany have just begun the one year countdown until their big day! They have big plans for a small wedding and just had family and friends gather together recently to celebrate their engagement. The Maxim Family

Autumn is here and the leaves have begun to fall. A crisp Autumn day is wonderful for a family photo shoot, like this one with the Maxim family! It is our last chance to enjoy the outdoors before we hunker down for winter and I move my photography indoors. I met with the Maxim family mid-October for a mini-family portrait session so they will have some beautiful family portraits just in time to share them with family and friends over the holidays.

Tachell Baby Shower

Keegan and Angela are having a baby! I showed up at their co-ed backyard BBQ baby shower with my camera in hand. The party was beautifully decorated with special touches to celebrate the impending arrival of baby Tachell! Angela and Keegan decided not to find out the gender of the baby so we will have to wait another couple of weeks to find out if baby Tachell is a he or she. So exciting! Angela is also scheduled for an expecting session, so stay tuned for some belly photos!

Anna's Headshots

Anna is a colleague of mine who also runs a photography business, taking gorgeous photos of her own. The problem with being a photographer is being unable to take photos of yourself! Anna and I take care of this dilemma by doing photo sessions for each other. The photos in this post are her new fancy headshots we did welcoming her new hair color for Fall. I love how the leaves have just begun to change and we are welcoming in a new Autumn season. Her cozy orange sweater makes you want to curl up by the fire with a book and a cup of hot tea on a blustery autumn day.

Kabella is 3 Months

I first photographed precious Kabella when she was only 11 days old. My goodness, how babies change so much in just 3 months' time. Kabella didn't seem to mind one bit us dressing her in frilly pink tutus and watching her giggle. By the end of the session we had worn her out and she drifted off into a dreamy sleep while we caught a few photos of Mom and Dad together. I look forward to photographing Kabella again when she is 6 months old, even though I don't know how she could get any cuter!

The Nelson Family

The Nelson Family always knows how to have a good time! I have known this family for many years time and they always find a way to enjoy being together. The joke of the session is that younger daughter, Laura, was trying to teach Brianna how to do a 'wistful' look for her her solo photos. Brianna never could stop giggling long enough but we captured Brianna's cheerful disposition and Laura's serious side showing each of the girls' authentic personality.
