I love photographing big families! Brock and Sarah and their five kids make every outing high-energy and fun. If you only look at two photos in this blog entry, look at the first one and the last one. The photo of the 5 kids on the bridge melts my heart. Each of their personalities are shining through in this image. 5 kids plus Mom and Dad are quite a group to wrangle at a park on a late summer evening, but we had a fabulous time looking for great places to play as well as fit everyone comfortably into a spot for a quick photo.

Mark & Christina's Anniversary!

To celebrate their 2nd wedding anniversary, Mark and Christina met me in the heart of Seattle and major tourist attraction, Pike Place Market, bright and early Saturday morning for our photo shoot. We expected gorgeous weather, afterall, it was July. But we should have known that living in Seattle the weather is anything but predictable. The overcast sky provided some beautiful ambient lighting but in exchange we were quite cold. We still had fun and what a wonderful way to celebrate their anniversary. These are the first professional photos since their 2008 wedding which took place in London. It was great fun playing tourists for the day visiting many local tourist attractions like the Pike Place Market fish throwers, Pier 57 and the Gum Wall. Urban photoshoots are such a delight with all the visual interest and when it comes to creativity in the Emerald City, the overcast sky is the limit!

The Finch Family

I just finished processing the photos from a wonderful photo session I had with Ryan and Tamara. They recently welcomed a baby boy, Mason, into their family. Mason is such a joyful baby to work with. He even took a little nap for us in the middle of the session giving me the opportunity to take some sleeping baby photos, my favorite! Mason's Aunt Tricia joined the family and we captured some beautiful Auntie and Nephew photos as well. Congratulations Ryan and Tamara!

Lucian Maxim

Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the darling son of a very good friend of mine. 5 month old baby Lucian has the brightest sparkling blue eyes! His eye lit up the room and his lively expressions were plenty to keep us laughing and have fun through the entire session.

Matt & Cynthia

Matt and Cynthia are highschool sweethearts! They have been together for six years and are recent college graduates who are looking orward to starting out their life together. I enjoyed their fun attitude on our mini-photo session which took place in California over the 4th of July holiday weekend.
